We recently held two very successful events as part of York International Women’s Week 2021. We have now launched the film that we made jointly with Khwendo Kor – FILM AND FOOD WITH ‘FROK’ – SHARING WOMEN’S PANDEMIC EXPERIENCES FROM YORK AND NW PAKISTAN.
It is publicly available on you-tube at https://youtu.be/wGWw_8Y9mBw
Don’t forget to turn on subtitles in the icon at the bottom of the screen
FROK is delighted to announce that Khwendo Kor has now been granted a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Economic Affairs Division of the Government of Pakistan. This is a huge achievement. Congratulations to KK for all their hard work and perseverance!
FROK’s online autumn talk: ‘Human Writes: Pakistani Women’s Writing’ took place from 2-3pm (GMT) Saturday 14th Nov. For a report on it, please see our latest Newsletter (No 2 2020) under Publications.

Our COVID-19 Appeal is now closed having raised £5,088. Every penny goes straight to KK to support their humanitarian efforts. Thank you for all who donated.
FROK AGM CANCELLED In view of the pandemic, we cancelled our AGM planned for 13th June in York. We hope to have a national meeting in the autumn, with a Guest Speaker.
